Yeah I have been missing for awhile.
I apologize things (God's Child), things have been hectic for me this past week.
Where do I start....um
I decided to redo my room so I have spent the better part of the week trying to organize everything and figuring out what the hell I am doing. I am ready for something different. I decided to start with one side of the room and work my way around. Right now....my room is a straight up disaster. I attempted to go into the closet and just get that in order which is my BIGGEST job because no lie my closet is the WORST. I have so much clothes in there its a wonder it doesnt explode...lol but right now its not looking too bad. The only bad things is all the clothes I need to get rid of...I am going to donate them so I plan on packing it all up into my car and then taking it somwhere.
Work has been interesting to say the least. This week I was told that the manager for my old department is leaving...and in the next breath I was offered her position. So I was totally floored becuase I just got a promotion what almost 2 months ago? So this was a shocker to me. I decided that I would put myself in the running, so I accepted it marginally based on my salary requirements and increased vacation time and all that. So now Tuesday when I go back to work I have a meeting with the Publisher and the Operations Manager and I guess we shall see where it goes. IF I get it, you guys will be the first to know. It's interesting because as the news spreads random folk have been coming up to me saying you should take it and all that. It does an ego good I tell ya. lol. The funniest part is...Moe (the slacker) go back into the archives for that one...he actually said he wanted to go in and ask to be considered for the position too. So maybe thats why they are making me interview.....hmmmm. whatever. lol.

I have some plans for this weekend too...I am trying to go to the blogger meetup and then sunday I am going to a birthday party (shhh its a surprise) and Monday I'm trying to hit up the Parkway for the West Indian Day Parade which is a complet misnomer but whatever.

Shake a leg on the Pkwy for me...Oh how I miss those days, my mom lives right around the corner from the bussiest intersection on the Pkwy.
Good luck with getting that new position. Have fun this weekend with the bloggers and lawd knows have a great time shaking a leg on the parkway. I miss that carnival sooo much. This is the 4th year that I've missed it. uhh and my mom lives on the parkway go figure huh.
So, inquiring minds want to know miss. How in the heck was that Labor Day parade after all? Did they rock the house like always. The weather was definitely stellar and that must have made the festivities fantastic! Pictures please!
