Slow Metamorphosis

Ok so this is L on the way home from the game and he was NOT happy about the Je.ts losing and I am sure I didnt make it any better cuz you a sister was cracking MAD jokes. lol HAHAHAHA

Well I am back at work bright and bushy tailed after a nice little Thanksgiving stint. Well all is true except for the Bright and Bushy Tailed….


I left work early on Wednesday, our company let us out at 2pm and I headed to get my oil changed in my car and then go and do some last minute shopping. The super market was BEYOND crowded and as usually folks were fighting over Turkeys and egg nog. Some drama at work but that will clear itself up in a short while. Thursday I got up and helped cook and set up for dinner and all that. Of course my cousin was late as usual and we started dinner late. I went to Harlem to have another go round at dinner at L's family's house. Then we went to Brooklyn to have dinner with my dads side of the family. On the way home I stopped at my friend K's house to thank her for the dish she made for us and to give her back her tray and then L drove us home.
Friday I was off - I didnt want to leave the house becasue I KNEW I would spend money that I didnt have, but my father needed me to take my brother to the mall so I ended up spending money I didnt have after all. lol. I hit up Macys and saved soo much money that I didnt feel too bad after all. I got a tomm.y hilf.iger down comforter that was originally 270 for 79.99 YEAH BABY!!! Then I came home and ate some leftovers and my friend K came over and we hit the mall up again!. So sad.
Saturday I took my mom to manhattan to visit her sister (my aunt) in the hospital. We stayed there for much of the day and then came home. Sunday back in the mall with K again! She got some speakers for her car and she spent the rest of the day trying to install them herself - which YAY she did figure it out...but you know me I got distracted and went in the house to go dye my eyebrows...lol yes you heard me right. I have pics to share! lol.

Then later that night L and I went to the Je.ts game in the Meadowlands. Now I am not a FAN FAN of football all like that. I can watch it and I know when to get amped when the team I am rooting for is running in the direction that I need them to. With explanations, I suppose I can come to love the game….but that’s another story for another day. I went to the see the J.ets cuz that is L’s team and he scored us some tickets. Now…it started at like 8:30 PM – and while the temperature was mild during the day, the night was cold!!! And here I am with full makeup face and my cute lil sweatsuit—cold as hell. Why oh Why. I ended up getting a J.ets blanket to put over my shoulders and tying down the hoodie to cover up my little mushroom fro. And of course I had no shame, I had L rubbing my ass to keep me warm. I have the classic pic that I will have call the "frustration of a jets fan", poor L his beloved team lost again! but the pic is classic!

So I have so been slacking with the posting. I really need to get back on my game and yes I know I have been saying that for forever. The past two weeks have been hell for me, I have been going through some times with a new person on my team and needless to say he is making me the manager that I dont want to be. In general I dont like when people take advantage, and I am the type of person who doesnt care as long as the work gets done. But he was turned me. I cant really go into details because...but if you want some info email a sista Im dying to share. lol. Um but yeah he is trying to test me and thats the last thing he wants to do. I have some pictures of my room. I am still fixing it up...slow I know! but its coming along nicely. Finally I am posting a pic of my shelves that I built with my own two hands. lol. I still dont have enough room for all my books but I am getting there. Here are some pics of my room. The wall above my bed with the mask. The new window covers that are a darling neutral color and crease so nicely instead of just rolling up. And the duvet cover that I got from Ikea which the colors are great and they contrast the wall very nicely. I washed it and it was all folded so thats why it looks all creased but on the bed it looks really nice. I will take a pic of that to share a lil later.
